From pumpkin picking, spooktactular trails, train rides, enchanted woodland adventures and much more, there are a range of events to suit all ages this October half term.

Kids can collect stamps in their Explorer passport with a chance to win some great prizes.

Throughout October: The Sculpture Park, Farnham - The Sculpture Park in Churt, near Farmham, is the world's largest all year outdoor sculpture exhibition set in an enchanting woodland garden in the Surrey Hills. Almost everything is for sale and as a result the exhibits are forever changing so there is always something new to discover, making it a perfect location for a half term family adventure. Saturday 23 October to Saturday 30 October: Secretts Pumpkin Week, Godalming - Pick the perfect pumpkin at Secretts - this award-winning farm shop in Milford, near Godalming, will be hosting a ticketed Pumpkin Week this year. Choose your favourite pumpkin to take home and enjoy a pumpkin themed menu and barbecue. Tickets cost £3 and picking is between 9am and 4pm. Saturday 23 October to Sunday 31 October: Witches and Wizards week, Bocketts Farm Park, Leatherhead - Enjoy a packed programme of fun and spooky activities at Bocketts Farm during October Half Term! Enjoy pumpkin picking, arts and crafts, spooktacularly fun trails around the park, exciting science and slime shows and much more. Early booking is recommended. Saturday 23 October to Sunday 31 October: British Wildlife Centre's autumn holiday opening, Lingfield - Book a wild day out and enjoy the Centre's fascinating collection of wonderful wildlife during the October half term. Saturday 23 October to Sunday 31 October: Brooklands Museum – Come fly with us, Weybridge - Discover the stories of the pioneering aviators and aircraft builders with Brooklands Museum's 'Come Fly with Us' family workshops, activities and tours. Little pilots can get their wings gliding around in pedal planes, everyone can go supersonic onboard the Concorde Experience tour and don't forget to clock in at the Brooklands Aircraft Factory. Saturday 23 October to Sunday 31 October: Teddy Bear Express train ride, Denbies Wine Estate, Dorking - Enjoy a journey on the outdoor train learning about autumn nature activity in the vineyard. Sunday 23 October to Sunday 31 October: Autumn Carnival, RHS Garden Wisley, Woking - Find out how the autumn season is celebrated around the world, with hands on activities for all ages, including a garden trail. Don't miss the autumn circus weekend to launch this fantastic week on 23 and 24 October, with a big top marquee and enthralling performances. Sunday 24 October to Sunday 31 October: Watts Gallery autumn half term events, Guildford - Watts Gallery has a great selection of activities and events going on during October half term. Swoop in for a bewitching week full of autumnal and creepy crafts in the enchanted Autumn woodland, book onto the Make Space event to make autumnal and creepy creatures with clay or along to an interactive talk to explore artworks together. Tuesday 26 October to Thursday 28 October: Halloween Judo Camp, Camberley Judo Club, Camberley - The three-day Judo camp will be suitable for children of all levels up to the age of 13. The classes and groups will be tailored to reflect ages and abilities. As well as fantastic judo sessions with some of the top players on the British team, children will also have the chance to take part in a range of additional Olympic events including team building events, touch rugby, football, running, badminton and forest activities. Wednesday 27 to Sunday 31 October: Scary Skywalk, Skywalk Adventure, Esher - From October 27 to 31 the ancient woodland at Skywalk Adventure comes alive with ghost and ghouls. Fully immerse yourself in the spooky surroundings of Skywalk as you zip wire and climb through the forbidden woods with frightening skeletons and spiders lurking nearby. Early booking is recommended. Keep Surrey Safe

Although most legal restrictions have been lifted at stage four of the roadmap out of lockdown, and many people have been vaccinated, it is still possible to catch and spread COVID-19, even if you are fully vaccinated. The requirement to wear face coverings has been lifted. However, the Government expects and recommends that people wear face coverings in crowded areas.
