On Tuesday 10 November, we are joining forces with the Local Government Association to celebrate the second #CouncilsCan Day. #CouncilsCan day is an online celebration to shine a spotlight on the local government heroes who have gone the extra mile to help residents during the Coronavirus pandemic.
In this time of national crisis, councils have provided crucial local leadership. The local services we've delivered have been essential to the COVID-19 response - all across the country, councils have protected lives and livelihoods, and kept their communities running.
#CouncilsCan day is an opportunity for the local government family to come together and show the world the amazing work we've done over the past year. You can see last year's video on the Local Government Association YouTube channel for more information.
