Tell us so we can help them be as safe as possible
We want anyone who needs to leave their home, whether it's for essentials or to go to work, to feel safe. That is why we have made it easier for you to report your concerns about businesses or venues in Surrey that are not following the Government's COVID-19 restrictions.
The new online tool can be used by anyone to report concerns about businesses and venues in Surrey breaching rules and restrictions, which includes:
- incorrect use of PPE and handwashing facilities
- inadequate barriers or protection measures
- not carrying out risk assessments
Once the form has been submitted, Buckinghamshire and Surrey Trading Standards will investigate it and work closely with Environmental Health and Surrey Police when appropriate. They will support businesses or venues to help them be as COVID-secure as possible.
It's important that everyone in Surrey plays their part to reduce the spread of the virus. To find out more about Coronavirus in Surrey, including how to get help, visit the Surrey County Council Coronavirus web pages.
