Fire Cadets

What is Fire Cadets all about?

Fire Cadets has been designed with young people in mind. We will provide you with the chance to get a real qualification and develop your own abilities physically and mentally, build in confidence and make new friends.

Fire Cadets is similar to youth clubs such as Scouts and Guides, but what is great about what we want to show you concerns all things fire and rescue related! This scheme will give the chance to see exactly what we do! Even if you don't know much about us yet, you will be taught important skills and how to manage in different situations. Best of all, anyone can get involved!

You will also learn how to work as a team and importantly, have fun! One thing that sets us apart from other clubs is that you will learn lifesaving skills that you can teach your friends and family.

You'll look the part, and get to experience what it is like to be a local hero in the community!

Just some of the things you will get to experience, will be how to navigate in the dark, operate a hose reel and ride in fire engine.

Our Fire Cadet scheme will launch in the new year, 2021. Initially, the scheme will launch at Guildford Fire Station with hopes of branching out to different stations too!!

Tell all of your friends about us, as we would love to hear from them too!

If you would like any further information please contact us.

The National Fire Cadets scheme aims to be a nationally recognised inclusive and progressive uniformed youth organisation delivered through Fire and Rescue Services, which inspires and empowers young people to be the best they can be.

The Fire Cadets will have branded uniform and work to the NFCC syllabus and run by fully vetted volunteer instructors. If you would like any further information please contact us. Our Fire Cadet scheme will launch in the new year 2021.
