How to contact the Family Information Service

Surrey Family Information Service (FIS) is a free impartial service for families with children aged 0 to 25. We can help you find organisations and services that may be able to support your family including information about childcare, holiday schemes and activities in your local area.

You can make an enquiry online in the following ways:

Alternatively you can contact us by:

  • Telephone 0300 200 1004 (Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm)
  • Face to face from your local FIS Outreach Officer
  • Minicom 020 8541 9698
  • SMS 07527 182861

For a quick and easy way to find childcare in your local area you can use our Childcare finder or search our Family Information Directory for childcare, organisations and services for families.

If you live or work on the borders of Surrey you may also like to contact your Neighbouring Family Information Service to find out about childcare and services in those areas.

If you're a childcare provider and would like to advertise your childcare or job vacancies, or are interested in working in childcare, you can find information and advice on the Early Years and Childcare Service childcare professionals web pages.
