Is your house too cold?

Grants available to keep your home warm
If you’re living somewhere with poor insulation, and/or a very old boiler, and you have a low income and/or certain health conditions made worse by the cold, then you may be eligible for a grant to help you to keep warm.
Action Surrey can help you make your home warmer with grants available for up to 100% of the total cost of loft insulation and cavity wall insulation. There may also be some funding towards the cost of a new boiler, especially for areas without mains gas.
The scheme is run in partnership with Surrey County Council and 10 of Surrey’s District and Borough Councils. So if you live in Surrey* simply call Action Surrey on 0800 783 2503 and they can advise you over the phone if you are eligible for grant funding. Or apply online via the Action Surrey website. Funding will be dependent on your eligibility for the scheme, a survey of the property and the availability of the funds at the time of your enquiry.
*For residents living in Runnymede please contact 0800 0246 231 or visit the heat surrey website.
