Planning a trip to your local CRC?

Changes to Surrey’s community recycling centre services
If you’re planning a trip to your local community recycling centre (CRC) there will be changes to the service as follows:
From 8 January 2018 the CRCs at Bagshot, Caterham, Cranleigh, Dorking, Farnham and Warlingham will no longer accept waste from vans, pick-ups and trailers. From the same date the opening days of most sites will also change. Some will continue to open for seven days a week while others will close during the least busy times.
Other recent changes are there is no longer a free daily allowance of non-household waste and residents of Bracknell Forest and Wokingham are no longer able to use Camberley CRC.
The changes are being made as continued cuts to funding, rising costs and increasing demand for key services means that Surrey County Council needs to find savings of more than £100m this year. This decision was made after taking into account residents’ feedback and will enable the council to make savings while still maintaining a comprehensive service.
