Woking 100: commemoration of 100 years since the end of the Great War
- May to November 2018.
As we approach the 100 year anniversary of the end of World War One, Surrey County Council's Woking Library, in partnership with Woking Borough Council, are proud to present a programme of events that look to commemorate the sacrifices made by those who endured The Great War both at home and on the front lines of Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East, whilst reflecting on the legacy that the conflict left behind. It is with pleasure that both Woking Library and Woking Borough Council invite you to join us in our commemorations and reflections of those who dedicated their lives to the war effort both on the home front and the frontlines.
