Books in other languages
Books are available in other languages, even if the language you require is not in the catalogue.
We can obtain books in over 40 languages for all ages and interests. If you'd like to read books in your first language or in a language you are learning, please ask at your local library.
We provide a wide range of language books and multimedia courses.
To borrow one of these courses you need to be a member of your local library.
Course lengths vary depending on the level and style.
Most language courses come with one or more audio tapes or CDs and an instruction booklet for practice. The exercises are usually a combination of written exercises, listening exercises and speaking skills.
Also, Adult Learning offer a number of language courses in a classroom environment.
