Surrey Waste Local Plan Period for Representations (Regulation 19)

The period for representations on the Submission Surrey Waste Local Plan ran from the 14 January 2019 to 10 March 2019. As part of the period for representations we published;

Following the period for representations, on the 12 April 2019 Surrey County Council submitted the Surrey Waste Local Plan and its supporting documents to the Independent Planning Inspectorate for examination in public. For more information please visit the Surrey Waste Local Plan 2018-2033 page.

Strategic Environment Assessment and Sustainability Appraisal

We have prepared an Environmental and Sustainability Report which incorporates a Strategic Environmental Assessment and a Sustainability Appraisal. The report assesses the likely social, economic and environmental effects of the plan, as well as highlighting the key environmental effects of the proposals and reasonable alternative options.

Habitats Regulations Assessment

A Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA) of the Submission version of the Surrey Waste Local (SWLP) has been prepared and is available below.

The latest version takes account of the sites allocated under Policy 11 in the Submission SWLP and the 'Industrial Land Areas of Search' identified under Policy 10 in the Submission SWLP.

Sites proposed for allocation in the Submission Surrey Waste Local Plan have undergone detailed site assessment work, the assessments undertaken were:
