The Surrey County Council Upgrading of Footpaths No.129 Byfleet, 3 Wisley (Part) And 566 Wisley to Bridleway Status Definitive Map Modification Order 2016
On 22 July 2019, an Inspector appointed by The Secretary of State for Environment Food and Rural Affairs confirmed the above named Order. The Order as confirmed modifies the Definitive Map and Statement by:
i. Upgrading to Public Bridleway the Public Footpath (No.129 Byfleet) from (point A) Sanway Road, Byfleet (Grid ref 506260 160019) in a south-westerly direction for 76 metres to (Point B) Public Footpath No.3 Wisley (Grid ref 506214 159969).
ii. Upgrading to Public Bridleway part of the Public Footpath (No.3 Wisley) from (point B)
Public Footpath No.129 (Byfleet) (Grid ref 506214 159969) in a westerly and then southerly direction for 161 metres to (Point E) Public Footpath No. 566 (Wisley) (Grid Ref 506078 159939).
iii. Upgrading to Public Bridleway the Public Footpath (No.566 Wisley) from (Point E) Public Footpath No.3 (Wisley) (Grid Ref 506078 159939) in a south westerly direction for 440 metres to join Wisley Lane (Grid ref 505764 159646) (Point F).

Copies of the Order and map may be bought from the County Council for £4.
The Definitive Map Modification Order came into force on 22 July 2019. If a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may under paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 of the Act within six weeks of the 9 August 2019 make an application to the High Court.
