Surrey County Council Rights of Way Definitive Map and Statement
The Surrey County Council Public Footpaths Nos. 612 (Oxted), 613 (Oxted and Limpsfield) and 614 (Oxted) Definitive Map Modification Order 2018
The above Order, made on 8 August 2018, if confirmed, as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:
(i) adding a public footpath (no. 612 Oxted) running from Bluehouse Lane, west of the United Reform Church (Grid ref 539390 153083) in a generally northerly then westerly direction for 1122 metres to beside No. 50 Silkham Road (Grid ref 539004 153706)
(ii) and by adding a public footpath (no. 613 Oxted and Limpsfield) running from beside No. 32 Chichele Road (Grid ref 539148 153325) in a north-easterly direction for 202 metres to meet public footpath no. 612. It then recommences from a point 134 metres further north to run in an easterly then north-easterly direction for 248 metres to public footpath no. 75, Limpsfield (Grid ref 539557 153626).
(iii) and by adding a public footpath (no. 614 Oxted) running from its junction with the public footpath no. 613 (Grid ref 539212 153374) in a south-easterly then north-easterly direction for 174 metres to meet public footpath no. 612. It then recommences from a point 96 metres further south running in a generally north-easterly direction for 440 metres to public footpath no. 613 (Grid ref 539535 153576).
A copy of the Order and Order map may be seen free of charge at the Countryside Access Office, Surrey County Council, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford GU4 7BQ (by appointment Tel 0300 2001003), Tandridge District Council offices, Station Road East, Oxted RH8 0BT and Oxted Library, 12 Gresham Road, Oxted RH8 0BQ during opening hours. Copies of the Order and map may be bought from the County Council for £4.
Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to the Countryside Access team (quoting reference SM/DP/3/1/CP563), at Surrey County Council, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford GU4 7BQ not later than 1 October 2018. Applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made. If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or to any part of it, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State (or part of it if the authority has by notice to the Secretary of State so elected under paragraph 5 of Schedule 15 to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981) may itself confirm the Order (or that part of the Order). If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in whole or in part, any representations and objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
