Conversion of part of Public Footpaths No. 21 and No. 22 Walton and Weybridge into Cycle Track Order 2020

The above Order, made on 23 December 2020, under section 3(1) of the Cycle Tracks Act 1984 if confirmed as made, will convert part of the width of Public Footpath No.21 Walton and Weybridge from Church Street (Grid Ref 507168 164771) to the path's junction with Public Footpath No. 22 Walton and Weybridge (Grid Ref 507475 164526) at a width of 1.75 metres and Public Footpath No. 22 Walton and Weybridge which extends from Springfield Meadows (Grid Ref 507530 164645) to Melrose Road (Grid Ref 507423 164440) at a width of 2.0 metres as shown on the Order map.

Further information regarding the purpose of this Order, which is necessary to fulfil the aims of the Brooklands Business Park Accessibility Project, specifically through the creation of a cycling/walking route between the Brooklands Business Park and Weybridge town centre.

Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to the Countryside Access Team (quoting reference AW/3/1/78/H37), at Surrey County Council, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford GU4 7BQ not later than 8 February 2021. Applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made.

If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for Transport for confirmation, any representations and objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
