Footpath No. 54 (Abinger)
Public Path Diversion Order 2022

The above order, made on 24 March 2022 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 will if confirmed, divert Footpath 54 (Abinger) running from O.S. Grid Ref 512018 141722 in a southerly direction for 50 metres to O.S. Grid Ref. 512006 141672, to a line running from O.S. Grid Ref 512018 141722 in a westerly turning to southerly direction to O.S. Grid Ref. 512006 141672.

A copy of the Order and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge by appointment (Telephone: 0300 200 1003) at Surrey County Council Offices, Whitebeam Lodge, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford (between 10am and 4pm from Monday to Friday) and at Mole Valley District Council, Pippbrook, Dorking RH4 1SJ during normal office hours and at Cranleigh Library, 16 High Street, Cranleigh, GU6 8AE during opening hours.

A copy of the Order and map may be purchased from the County Council at a cost of £4.00 per order.

Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to Countryside Access quoting reference AW/3/1/38 at Surrey County Council, Whitebeam Lodge, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford GU4 7BQ by 25 April 2022. Please state the grounds on which they are made.

If no representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made, are withdrawn, Surrey County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations, which have not been withdrawn, will be sent with the Order.
