Public Path Order 2020

On 27 January 2021, Surrey County Council confirmed the above Order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.

The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert Footpath 412a (Dormansland) from a point (Grid Ref. 542536 140458) 13 metres south west of Hollow Lane beside The Lodge to Lullenden Manor running in a south westerly direction for a distance of 127 metres, then continuing in a west south westerly direction for a further 258 metres to meet BW 412 (Dormansland) (Grid Ref. 54222 140258) to a line running from the same point (Grid Ref. 542536 140458) in a north westerly then south westerly direction to BW 412 (Dormansland) (Grid Ref. 542223 140258), a total distance of 380 metres as shown on the Order map.

The Order came into force on 27 January 2021 but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highway Act 1980 as amended or on the ground that any requirement of the Act as amended or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order he or she may under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act within six weeks from 4 February 2021 make an application to the High Court.
