On 30 September 2021 Surrey County Council will make a temporary order to prohibit all traffic on foot or by any other means from entering or proceeding along Footpath No. 349 (Ash) from its junction with Manor Road (Grid ref: 488794 149953) to its junction with Footpath 351, and Footpath 351 (Ash) from its junction with Footpath 349 to its junction with Yeoman's Bridge Crescent.

The temporary closure will only be in operation when appropriate road traffic signs are displayed on site by the County Council or an authorised person acting on its behalf. Access to properties will not be affected.

The alternative route for traffic from the north western end of the closure will be to proceed along Manor Road in a Northerly direction to its junction with Ash Lodge Drive. Turn right on Ash Lodge Drive and proceed in an easterly direction to its junction with Hammersley Drive. Continue along Hammersley Drive in a south easterly direction to its junction with Yeoman's Bridge Crescent. Turn right onto Yeoman's Bridge Crescent and proceed in a generally south easterly direction to the south eastern end of the closure. The alternative route from the south eastern end of the closure will be the reverse of the one described above.

The 'Surrey County Council Public Footpath Nos. 349 and 351 (Ash) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2021' will be made by Surrey County Council under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
