Notice

Surrey County Council Public Footpath 302 (Farnham)
Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order 2018
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1)&(2)

On 4 October 2018, Surrey County Council made the temporary order to prohibit all traffic on foot or by any other means from entering or proceeding along Public Footpath 302 Farnham (Borelli Walk) from its junction with South Street (Grid Ref 484281 146716) in a generally north-easterly direction to a point to the south of Weybank Close.

The Order is necessary on the grounds of public safety due to construction work. The closure will be in operation from 19 October 2018 to 28 March 2019, or until completion of the works, if earlier. The Secretary of State for Transport, if required, can extend that period.

The temporary closure will only operate while the County Council, or an authorised person acting on its behalf, displays signs prohibiting the said movements. Access to properties will not be affected.

There is no suggested alternative route.

'The Surrey County Council Public Footpath 302 Farnham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2018' was made by the County Council under Section 14(1)&(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
