The Surrey County Council Public Bridleway 13, 14 and 15 (Camberley & Frimley) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2019 was made in order to facilitate works taking place on or near the bridleway in connection with the construction of a cycleway from Frith Hill to Tomlinscote.

The Order came into operation on 21 November 2019. It was due to expire on 21 May 2020 but has now been continued in force by the Secretary of State for Transport and will now expire on 21 May 2021 or sooner if works are completed.

The Order as continued prohibits all traffic on foot or by any other means from entering or proceeding on that length of Bridleway 13 (Camberley and Frimley) extending in a generally southerly direction from its junction with Tomlinscote Way for a distance of 360m to GR 489202 158252, Bridleway 14 (Camberley and Frimley) extending from GR 489670 158456 in a generally easterly direction for a distance of 160m to GR 489823 158477 and Bridleway 15 (Camberley & Frimley) extending from GR 490267 158223 in a south easterly direction for 120m to GR 490345 158143.

The prohibition described above will only be operative while the County Council, or an authorised person acting on its behalf, displays signs prohibiting the said movements. No access to properties will be affected by the temporary closure.

The alternative routes for pedestrians, equestrians and cyclists will be along various other paths available over Frith Hill that are unaffected by the works, and which alternative routes will be signed on site.
