The Surrey County Council Public Footpath No. 637 (Reigate)
Definitive Map Modification Order 2020
The above Order, made on 20 February 2020, if confirmed, as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding a public footpath from point 'A', its junction with Atherfield Road [Grid Ref. 526155 148626], and running for 14 metres in a north-westerly direction to point 'B' [Grid Ref. 526151 148642]. Then from point 'B' continuing in a north-westerly direction for 13 metres to point 'C', being the southern edge of Earlswood Common [Grid Ref. 526146 148653]. The total distance is 27 metres with a width varying between 'A' and 'B' of 5.5 to 2.5 metres and between 'B' and 'C' of 2.5 metres
A copy of the Order and Order map may be seen free of charge at the Countryside Access Office, Surrey County Council, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford GU4 7BQ (by appointment Tel 0300 2001003); Reigate and Banstead Borough Council Offices, Town Hall, Castlefield Road, Reigate, RH2 0SH and Reigate Library, Bancroft House, Bancroft Road, Reigate, RH2 7RP during opening hours. Copies of the Order and map may be bought from the County Council for £4.
Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to the Countryside Access team (quoting reference CP579), at Surrey County Council, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford GU4 7BQ not later than 20 April 2020. Applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made. If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or to any part of it, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State (or part of it if the authority has by notice to the Secretary of State so elected under paragraph 5 of Schedule 15 to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981) may itself confirm the Order (or that part of the Order). If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in whole or in part, any representations and objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
