Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022
On 17 March 2022 Surrey County Council will make a temporary order to prohibit all traffic on foot or any other means from entering or proceeding along Footpath No. 23 (Leatherhead) from its junction with Kingston Road (Grid ref. 516316 158524) in a north easterly direction for 100 metres.
The Order is necessary due to works to the parapets of the bridge over the M25. It will be in operation from 21 March 2022 until 9 April 2022 or until completion of the works, if earlier, and while the relevant notices are displayed. The Secretary of State for Transport can extend that period if required.
The temporary closure will only be in operation when appropriate road traffic signs are displayed on site by the County Council or an authorised person acting on its behalf. It is anticipated the closure will be between 21:00 and 06:00 hours nightly. Access to properties will not be affected.
There is no alternative route.
The 'Surrey County Council Public Footpath No. 23 (Leatherhead) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022' was made by Surrey County Council under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
