Notice of making of an order

Highways Act 1980 and Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981
Surrey County Council Footpath No. 126A (West End)
Public Path Diversion Order 2021

The above Order, made on 17 March 2021, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 will, if confirmed, divert Footpath 126A (West End) running from point A (at Grid Ref 492726 161268) in a generally south-westerly direction for 1227 metres via point B (at Grid ref 492216 161108) to point C (at Grid Ref 491606 160871), to a line running from point A at (Grid Ref 492726 161268) in a north-westerly direction for 203 metres via point D (at Grid Ref 492560 161382) then in a generally south-westerly direction for 1131 metres to point C (at Grid Ref 491606 160871) as shown on Drawings Nos. 3/1/82/H20i and H20ii which are attached below.

A copy of the Order and Map may be seen free of charge at the Countryside Access Office, Surrey County Council, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford GU4 7BQ (by appointment Tel. 0300 2001003) or copies collected at Camberley Library, Knoll Road, Camberley, GU15 3SY during opening hours. The notice can also be viewed on www.surreycc.gov.uk under Footpaths, Byways and Bridleways. A copy of the Order may be purchased from the County Council for £4.

Any representations or objections to the Order must be sent in writing to Countryside Access quoting reference DJ/DW/3/1/82/126A at Surrey County Council, Whitebeam Lodge, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford GU4 7BQ by 19 April 2021. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Surrey County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. Any representations not withdrawn will be sent with the Order to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation.
