Public Path Diversion Order 2021

On 24 February 2021, Surrey County Council confirmed the above Order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A (2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert Bridleway 31 (Frimley and Camberley) from point 'A' (Grid Ref 488748 155402) in a north easterly direction for 39 metres to point 'C' (Grid Ref 488778 155425) then in a north easterly direction for 22 metres to re-join the definitive line at Point 'B' (Grid Ref 488792 155442), as shown on Drawing No. 3/1/84/H17. Total distance A-C-B 61 metres. The bridleway to have a width of 1.8 metres.

A copy of the Order and Map may be seen free of charge at the Countryside Access Office, Surrey County Council, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford GU4 7BQ (by appointment Tel. 0300 200 1003) and at Surrey Heath Borough Council, Surrey Heath House, Knoll Road, Camberley GU15 3HD, during opening hours. A copy of the Order may be purchased from the County Council for £4.

The Order came into force on 3 March 2021, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highway Act 1980 as amended or on the ground that any requirement of the Act as amended or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order he or she may under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act within six weeks from 24 March 2021 make an application to the High Court.
