Managing the countryside

Coronavirus: countryside car parks update

We have reopened car parks at all of our countryside sites, in line with the latest government guidance. However the Roundabout and Staple Hill car parks at Chobham Common remain temporarily closed.

Residents and visitors can park for free, as car parking charges were removed on the 1 April. A voluntary donation scheme will be introduced later in the year.

It is important, however, that residents and visitors still follow government advice including maintaining social distancing. Advice can be found on the gov.uk website.

Residents with any concerns whilst on site can contact Surrey Police.

Please note the public toilets at Newlands Corner and Ockham Common, which are managed by the café operators, will remain closed for the time being.
