We have a number of Service Manager opportunities available across our Corporate Parenting and Family Resilience and Safeguarding divisions each with their own specialist lead. Please read on for more information about the exact locations for each of the roles.

As a Service Manager within our Corporate Parenting and Family Resilience and Safeguarding divisions you will be joining us at a time of significant change, as we transform our Children's Services. We have new management in place, and are implementing innovative approaches to what we do to deliver our vision. We have made a great start, and are now looking for a dedicated Service Managers to join and strengthen our management team.

Through our journey of transformation so far directors for the divisions Tina Benjamin and Jacquie Burke have recognised the need to review and improve the current functions by implementing the award winning approach to statutory social work, 'Family Safeguarding', whereby we will use motivational interviewing to work with families' strengths, taking the time to understand their needs fully. In doing this we will:

All of our Service Manager roles require you to plan, organise and manage complex teams within respective service specialisms. You will provide effective operational management as well as support to our Assistant Directors and Directors, to deliver commitments across the portfolios of work as defined for each service and in line with our strategic aims and vision.
