Important news - enrol for Childcare Vouchers before 10 March 2018, as the scheme is closing
The existing ESC will close to new entrants in April 2018, and anyone who wishes to join the childcare vouchers salary sacrifice scheme must register by 10 March 2018. To register log onto Surrey Extra before the deadline, as you must have had a salary deduction for childcare vouchers in the March 2018 payroll.
Parents can now choose between the Government's tax-free childcare (TFC) which is administered by National Savings & Investments, and the existing Employer Supported Childcare (ESC) salary sacrifice scheme, administered by the council. As both schemes operate differently, individual circumstances will dictate which scheme maximises the savings available. Find out more about the schemes to see which will best suit you and see some example scenarios which demonstrate how the two schemes can save you money.
