The service is facing rising demands for its services at a time when the budget to meet assessed care needs is under considerable pressure. As the Client Account Manager for Adult Social Care, you will support the service and help them respond to the need for change by developing property solutions for the growing needs of the client group and, in particular, delivering extra care and independent living solutions.
The service needs to make a step change in delivering a wider provision of options and this will be your main focus. Knowledge and experience of operating from a property perspective within the adult social care market would be beneficial.
As the External Liaison Client Account Manager, you will focus on helping us to respond to the strategic needs of our district and borough partners, the Surrey Fire and Rescue Service, the One Public Estate agenda and general community needs.
You will need a wide understanding of the statutory role of local government and be keen to develop innovative ways of delivering excellent local services. One of the key aims of the role will be to help rationalise the council's £1.5 billion asset base and deliver efficiencies for the future.
