On average Surrey Fire and Rescue Service responds to approximately 35,000 emergency calls each year and it's our Joint Emergency Communications Centre staff who ensure we get the right resources to the right place at the right time.

Each Mobilising Control Operator is trained to a very high standard to deal with any incident and to cope with often distressed and panicky callers in a calm and competent manner.

As a member of a dedicated and professional team in the Joint Emergency Communications Centre, you will provide a valuable service to the community, in a challenging role with real job satisfaction.
