Career Transition Partnership
Surrey has a strong relationship with the Career Transition Partnership (CTP) who play a significant part in helping ex-military personnel into employment and supporting the transition back to civilian life. We have a large number of adverts posted on their website and also hold an employer focus page which is regularly updated with our news and latest vacancies.
In order to support our staff in their roles, we have benefits in place which include:
- A maximum of 10 extra days paid special leave to allow for annual reservist training
- A wellbeing and inclusion Jive group where discussions and socials can be arranged
Sandhurst Leadership Challenge
As part of being awarded the Gold Employer Recognition Award, we have been given the opportunity over the last few years to attend the Leadership Challenge Day which is held at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. This not only gives employees the chance to develop their own leadership and management skills but also offers the chance to experience the role of a reservist.
