Supported by the Health and Wellbeing Board, the Healthy Surrey website provides self-care information and signposts Surrey residents to local services and support.
These services include bereavement support, mental wellbeing support for adults and children, as well as advice on nutrition, healthy lifestyles, and maintaining good health.
Mental wellbeing support
You can find a wide range of advice, help and support if you, your child, or someone you know is experiencing mental health concerns such as anxiety, trauma or depression.
This includes information on how to access one-to-one support and peer support groups, self-help resources, confidential helplines, and local and national support services. These services may be able to help directly or guide you to more appropriate support.
The First Steps guide on the Healthy Surrey website provides advice, information and self-help techniques to support emotional wellbeing, as well as details of local and national organisations that can offer support.
You can also visit the Mental Health Hub on the Healthy Surrey website, which brings together information on local mental health support services, self-help tools and resources, NHS Talking Therapies, and crisis support..

Vaccinations
Getting vaccinated is one of the most effective ways to protect yourself and others from serious illness.

Domestic abuse
If you're experiencing domestic abuse, including coercive and controlling behaviour, there is support available for you.

Bereavement support
The death of a loved one can be devastating and affect people in many ways, but help and support is available locally, and nationally.

Period Dignity in Surrey
We are proud to have launched a ground-breaking initiative with charity Binti International, to provide free period products in selected locations across Surrey and be the first county council in the UK to start eradicating period stigma.
Fire safe and Well visits
We're committed to helping everyone in our communities stay safe, independent and well informed. That's why Surrey Fire and Rescue Service offers free Safe and Well visits.
During a visit, firefighters can come to your home to provide personalised fire safety advice for you, a loved one, or someone you care for. The service is completely free, and if needed, they can also fit free smoke alarms during the visit.

Priority Services Register
If you are of pensionable age, have a long-term health condition or disability, or have children under the age of five, you may be eligible to join the Priority Services Register.
Being on the register means you can receive additional support from your water, gas and electricity suppliers during emergencies or service disruptions. This may include access to bottled water during a water supply interruption, priority assistance, and tailored support if there is a power or gas outage.
