Fortnightly coronavirus full summary report

The Surrey COVID-19 Intelligence Summary is published every two weeks starting from 17 May 2022, previously it was published weekly. Please see the data sources linked within the reports for more regular updates.

The report aims to provide an easily accessible summary of publicly available data regarding COVID-19 infections and impact within Surrey. Where possible, indicators are presented by districts and boroughs across Surrey.

All previous versions of this report are available below.

Tuesday 5 April 2022 update

From 1 April 2022, the government will no longer provide free universal symptomatic and asymptomatic testing for the general public in England, as outlined in the plan for living with COVID-19.

As recorded cases are therefore no longer a reliable measure of COVID-19 cases in the community, the Recorded Cases and Reinfections sections have been removed from the Intelligence Summary.

We will continue to review the contents of the report to ensure we are providing the most meaningful statistics.
