We shared the love of creativity with Surrey in February, let’s see what we got up to!
11 February – Weekly Art Club

Our free weekly art club, Create Club, is going strong! Create Club is an inviting space for anyone aged 11 to 18 years old interested in getting creative. Bring yourself along – it's low pressure and open to all!
Occurs Wednesdays from 4.00pm-5.30pm at The Library Hub, Staines upon Thames.
18 February - Event Planning Workshop with Artswork
We partnered with Artswork, delivering an informative, hands-on workshop, teaching 13 to 25 year olds key tips and tricks to turning an event idea into a clear plan – from design, people, budgeting, timelines and promotion.
19 February - Photography Exhibition in The Library Hub, Staines-Upon-Thames
Young carers in Shepperton spent six weeks learning photography with documentary artist Sam Ivin, from portraits to macro shots and light-painting. Their bold, colourful images, chosen or hand-decorated by each participant, are on show at The Library Hub, Staines-Upon-Thames. Go check it out!
28 Feb - National Saturday Club with Higher Education Outreach Network (HEON)

We collaborated with HEON to invite 13 to 16 year olds to step into the shoes of young creative entrepreneurs – building their own mini brand or collection. The workshop combined hands-on design with digital storytelling: ending with each student finishing with their own mini “brand launch”.
A jam-packed month indeed! Follow our Instagram @escalate_arts and check out our events page to see what we've got planned this March (hint: it's festival-sized!).
