Ongoing Activity: Creative Wings
Young people across Spelthorne are invited to add their voice to Creative Wings, a community arts installation that will form a time capsule at Spelthorne Museum.
The completed Creative Wings swan will be on display at Staines Library Hub from 26 October to 13 December 2026.
Upcoming Event: Intergenerational Read to the Beat Workshops
We are delighted to have Intergenerational Music Making bring ‘Read to the Beat’ music workshops to libraries across Surrey this November. They will be turning stories into songs and create joyful moments that connect generations through reading, music and imagination.

The Surrey Youth Arts and Culture Festival is back for its fourth year, taking place Saturday 26 September 2026 between 11am – 3pm at the Staines Library Hub. This annual event celebrates the vibrant creativity and cultural diversity of young people aged 11 to 18 years old in Surrey, providing a platform for artistic expression and community engagement.
The festival will provide opportunities to:
