Definitive Map Modification Orders 2018
On 15 July 2022 an Inspector appointed by The Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs confirmed the above named Order, namely The Surrey County Council Public Footpath No.643 (Banstead) Definitive Map Modification Orders 2018. The Order modifies the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding theretoo:
Footpath No. 643 (Banstead) in the Borough of Reigate and Banstead, shown by a bold broken line on Drawing No. 3/1/36/H47, commencing at point 'A' (Grid Ref: 527945 159032) on Rectory Lane proceeding in a north-easterly direction for 15 metres uphill to point B (Grid Ref 527954 159044) at the south-west corner of a field and then for 375 metres in a north-easterly direction to point C (Grid Ref:528224 159294) at the south-east corner of the field at the County boundary. The total distance A-B-C is 390 metres with a width of 2 metres.
On 28 July 2023 an Inspector appointed by the The Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs confirmed with modifications the above named Order, namely The Surrey County Council Public Footpath No.644 (Banstead) Definitive Map Modification Orders 2018. The Order modifies the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding theretoo:
Footpath No. 644 (Banstead) in the Borough of Reigate and Banstead, shown by a bold broken line on Drawing No. 3/1/36/H48, commencing at the northern corner of the field at point F (Grid Ref: 527954 159044) and running in a south-south-easterly direction for 321 metres to point C (Grid Ref: 528224 159294). The width is 1.5 metres.

The Surrey County Council Public Footpath No.643 (Banstead) Definitive Map Modification Orders 2018 came into force on the date it was confirmed, namely 15 July 2022.
The Surrey County Council Public Footpath No.644 (Banstead) Definitive Map Modification Orders 2018 came into force as modified on the date it was confirmed, namely 28 July 2023.
If any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 or on the ground that any requirement of the Act or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order he or she may under paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 to the Act within six weeks from the 19 October 2023 make an application to the High Court.
