Notice of Making of an Order

Public Footpath No. 331 (Charlwood)
Public Path Diversion Order 2022

The above Order, made on 6 December 2022 under section 119A of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A (2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 will if confirmed, divert Footpath No 331 (Charlwood) from point 'A' (Grid Ref Grid Ref 522090 141471) in an east south easterly direction for 251 metres to Point 'C' (Grid Ref 522348 141445), as shown on Drawing No. 3/1/42/H18. Total distance A – C 251 metres. The footpath to have a width of 2 metres.

A copy of the Order and Map may be seen free of charge at the Countryside Access Office, Surrey County Council, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford GU4 7BQ (by appointment Tel. 0300 200 1003) and at Mole Valley District Council, Pippbrook, Dorking, Surrey, RH4 1SJ or Horley Library, Victoria Road, Horley RH6 7AG, during opening hours. A copy of the Order may be purchased from the County Council for £4.

Any representations or objections to the Order must be sent in writing to Countryside Access quoting reference DW/AKW/3/1/42 at Surrey County Council, Whitebeam Lodge, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford GU4 7BQ by 23 January 2023. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Surrey County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. Any representations not withdrawn will be sent with the Order to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation.
