Public Footpath No. 321 (Charlwood)
Public Path Diversion Order 2022

The above Order, made on 12 July 2022 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A (2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 will if confirmed, divert Public Footpath No. 321 (Charlwood) from point 'A' (Grid Ref 523123 140254) in a north-north-easterly direction for 60 metres to Point 'C' (Grid Ref 523156 140300) then in an easterly direction for 127 metres to Point 'B' (Grid Ref 523277 140325) as shown on Drawing No. 3/1/42/H17. Total distance A – C – B 187 metres. The footpath to have a width of 2 metres.

A copy of the Order and Map may be seen free of charge at the Countryside Access Office, Surrey County Council, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford GU4 7BQ (by appointment Tel. 0300 200 1003) and at Mole Valley District Council, Pippbrook, Dorking, Surrey, RH4 1SJ or Horley Library, Victoria Road, Horley RH6 7AG during opening hours. A copy of the Order may be purchased from the County Council for £4.

Any representations or objections to the Order must be sent in writing to Countryside Access quoting reference DW/AKW/3/1/42 at Surrey County Council, Whitebeam Lodge, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford GU4 7BQ by 29 August 2022. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Surrey County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. Any representations not withdrawn will be sent with the Order to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation.
