The Surrey County Council
Public Footpath No. 350 (Ash)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022

The Surrey County Council Public Footpath No.350 (Ash) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022 was made by reason of resurfacing works taking place on the footpath.

The Order came into operation on 6 May 2022 and was due to expire on 5 August 2022. It has now been continued in force by the Secretary of State for Transport until 23 October 2022, or completion of the works, whichever is earlier. The Order as continued will prohibit all traffic on foot or any other means from entering or proceeding along Footpath No. 350 (Ash) from a point 90 metres north west of its junction with BOAT 518 (Grid ref. 489356 149793) to its junction with Footpath 351.

The temporary closure will only be in operation when appropriate road traffic signs are displayed on site by the County Council or an authorised person acting on its behalf. Access to properties will not be affected.

The alternative route from the south eastern end of the closure will be to proceed in a west south westerly direction and then generally north westerly direction along Hop Garden Way to its junction with Hammersley Drive. Turn right onto Hammersley Drive and proceed in a generally easterly direction to its junction with Footpath 351. Turn left on Footpath 351 and proceed in a north easterly direction to the north western end of the closure. The alternative route from the north western end of the closure will be the reverse of the one described above.
