That period can be extended by the Secretary of State for Transport if required.

The temporary closure will only be in operation when appropriate road traffic signs are displayed on site by the county council or an authorised person acting on its behalf. Access to properties will not be affected.

The alternative route for traffic during the first stage of the works affecting Public Footpath Nos.110 & 111 (Haslemere) will be as shown on plan no 3/1/20/H59.

There is no suggested alternative route on public rights of way during the second stage of the works, affecting Public Footpath Nos. 3 & 110 (Haslemere), as shown on plan no. 3/1/20/H61.

“The Surrey County Council Public Footpath Nos. 3, 110 & 111 (Haslemere) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026” will be made by the county council under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
