Easter music course

Our Easter music course has been running for over 45 years with residential and non-residential music courses offering young people the chance to develop, play and perform with other musicians while making friends and having fun. The course includes orchestral workshops, singing workshops, DJ and music production workshops and guitar skill workshops.

DJ and Music Production Workshops

A unique 3 hour workshop for young people aged 8 - 16 years old to learn the art of DJing and an introduction to music technology in a fun and educational way. Use mixing consoles to beat match, blend, cut, paste and scratch music to create a DJ mix. No previous musical experience necessary. These workshops take place during the school holidays. Please see the Surrey Music Hub for more information about our DJ and music production workshops.

Guitar workshops

These Saturday morning workshops in Woking and Leatherhead are an opportunity for young guitarists of all abilities to come and learn new songs in an ensemble while developing their guitar playing techniques including strumming, picking and improving posture using acoustic and electric guitars. Please see the Surrey Music Hub for more information about our guitar workshops.

Arts workshops

Working with local artists, Surrey Arts provide various workshops in a variety of art forms giving the Surrey community opportunities to show their creative flare.

We are currently working with Surrey Artists Open Studios and Surrey Hills Arts to provide a series of online art workshops available for artists of all ages and abilities.

Other workshops

Other workshops such as piano master classes, singing workshops and drum line become available throughout the year. Further information will be available via the Surrey Music Hub.
