Surrey Archaeological Society - exists to protect, interpret and record all aspects of the history and archaeology of Surrey and is a very good place to start if you are interested in the archaeology and history of the county.
Surrey History Centre - based in Woking and houses the archive and local studies material for the county.
Surrey Museums Consultative Committee - SMCC are an advisory body for all the museums of Surrey. Their website contains a wealth of information about the museums of Surrey and serves as a useful portal to those museums.
