The reasons why we use your personal data
This privacy notice applies to the functions of the Environment and Planning Service that provides services to support households with the cost of living and to improve the warmth, comfort, affordability, sustainability and health of their homes. The Fairer Warmth platform provides a single digital front door for residents to access Surrey County Council’s household energy support services.
What processing of personal data is undertaken by the service?
Your personal data is collated for the purpose of providing tailored support to households about energy saving advice, potential energy grants and other financial and non-financial support available based on your property information, including Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) information, and your circumstances which may affect eligibility for support.
Onward referrals to other support schemes are also possible, where data sharing agreements are in place. SCC may carry out research and statistical analysis on topics including energy usage, EPC rating, support option eligibility, grant eligibility, benefit provision and fuel poverty. We may provide households with customer support and contact households to answer any questions they have.
