Notice is hereby given that Surrey County Council ("the council") intends to dispose of open space land pursuant to Section 123(1), (2A) Local Government Act 1972
Land and buildings on the south side of Boxhill Road, Betchworth
Notice is hereby given that the council proposes to dispose by way of the grant of a lease of land having an area of approximately 44.02 hectares being land and buildings on the south side of Boxhill Road, Betchworth (the "property") which forms part of an open space to Surrey Wildlife Trust, which has tenanted the land since 2002.
By virtue of Section 123(2A) Local Government Act 1972 the Council is required to give formal notice of its intention to dispose of the property and consider any objections received.
Plans showing the extent of the property to be so disposed of are available to download as a PDF, or can be inspected at the reception of County Hall, Penrhyn Road, Kingston Upon Thames, KT1 2DN on Monday to Friday each week (public holidays excepted) until 4 November 2020.
Any person objecting to the above proposal should write to: Surrey County Council, County Hall, Penrhyn Road, Kingston upon Thames KT1 2DN FAO: Michael Tye and quoting the details of this notice, on or before the date referred to above giving full particulars of the grounds of his or her objection.
