Our priorities - improving our roads
Surrey County Council's aim is to make a positive difference to the lives of our residents. We do this by providing a wide range of good quality services and supporting initiatives that benefit the county.
One of our priorities is to improve our roads. One way we're doing this is by investing £100 million in our roads over the next five years. This will involve replacing 500km of our roads and reducing the number of potholes and other safety problems, all while supporting our local economy through minimising road disruption and closures.
Take a look at our short film about this investment programme.
