Celebrating 5 Years of Your Fund Surrey – Large Community Projects
Since its launch in November 2020, Your Fund Surrey – Large Community Projects has supported ambitious, community‑led initiatives that deliver lasting benefit across the county.
Designed for major capital projects over £10,000, the fund helped bring to life a wide range of spaces and facilities that strengthen local communities. Through a collaborative, staged process, residents and organisations worked together to shape projects that have made a real difference.
Examples of the types of projects brought to life through the fund include:
- New and improved community centres
- Sports pavilions and clubhouses
- Enhancing accessibility in existing community spaces
- New football pitches and sports facilities
- All weather nature trails
