We own more than 6,500 acres of Surrey's wonderful countryside available for you to explore and enjoy whatever the time of year. We also have access agreements with private landowners to provide public access to a total of over 10,000 acres. We call this Surrey's Countryside Estate. Ongoing until Saturday 1 October: Guildford Walkfest 2022, Guildford
The annual celebration of walking in and around the beautiful borough of Guildford has returned! With at least one walk organised everyday in September, the focus of this years festival is the positive benefits of walking for mental and physical health. Saturday 8 October: Cyclamen Autumn Show at RHS Garden Wisley, Woking

Wednesday 12 October to Sunday 16 October: Festival of Flavours at RHS Garden Wisley, Woking
RHS Garden Wisley will host a five-day food spectacular featuring flavours from around the world, tips for growing the best ingredients, and cooking demonstrations from international chefs. Taste your way around the world with a delicious array of food and drink, browse 35 food stalls, enjoy tours of the edible gardens, and learn from celebrity chefs. Thursday 20 October to Sunday 6 November: Ignite returns to Polesden Lacey, Dorking
