Surrey Libraries offer an extensive programme of events including activities and fun workshops with Dogs Trust dogs, virtual storytelling sessions, rhymetime, art workshops, digital events and much more. Saturday 28 May: The Past Comes Alive, Bourne Hall Park

On a day where the past comes alive, learn about the local connections of past Kings and Queens, and get an insight into the medieval period as part of events marking the Queen's Jubilee at Bourne Hall Park. Saturday 28 May to Sunday 5 June: Farmyard antics at Godstone Farm, Tilburstow Hill, Road Godstone, RH9 8LX

Experience life as a farmer. Help keep the animals happy, fill buckets, muck out the straw and don't be afraid to get stuck in. With over 500 animals, indoor play barn, animal holding and outdoor play areas there is plenty to do this half term. Pre-booking is advised, suitable for children aged 2 to 8 years old. Saturday 28 May to Sunday 5 June: Claremont Crown Quest, Claremont Landscape Garden, Portsmouth Road, Esher, KT10 9JG

Could you have been a royal in Princess Charlotte or Queen Victoria's time? Complete the royal quest to earn your crown badge as you learn more about Claremont's royal owners. Normal admission applies plus £3 per crown quest. For more information visit the National Trust web site.


Tuesday 31 May: Forest Fun, Gatton Park

Join the Forest School to explore Cedar Wood, make woodland crafts and enjoy some treats around the fire. Booking is essential, available from 10am to 12pm or 1:30pm to 3:30pm, £8 per person. To book tickets visit the Gatton Park events web site


Wednesday 1 June: Guildford Cathedral family fun day, Guildford Cathedral, Stag Hill, Guildford, GU2 7UP

Take part in various activities at Guildford Cathedral family fun day to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. From 10:30am to 12:30pm, entry is free but all children must be accompanied by an adult. Book tickets via the Guildford cathedral web site.


Wednesday 1 June: Mad Hatter's Disco Party, The Arts Hub Grange Meadow Bletchingley Redhill RH1 4PE

Join The Arts Hub in Bletchingley for a Mad Hatter's Disco Party in celebration of The Queens Platinum Jubilee. The day will be jam packed with an epic disco, part dances, Alice in Wonderland themed games, magic tricks and much more. Book tickets via the Ticket Tailor events web site.
