Sunday 2 October: The Big Purple Psychic and Holistic Fair, Chessington

The Big Purple Psychic and Holistic Fair is the largest and friendliest one-day event of its kind. There are over 100 market place stalls, readings, healing and holistic therapies to browse. £5 per adult and free for children. Sunday 2 October: Vintage Tea Party for Silver Sunday, West Horsley

Monday 3 October until Monday 7 November: Coffin Club, West Clandon

Coffin Club is a 6 week free course, taking place once a week, empowering you to learn more about the different options available to help you plan your own end of life celebration. Sunday 9 October: Autumn Motorsport Day at Brooklands Museum, Weybridge

Take part in the Museum's celebration of motorsport and get a double dose of motor action. There will be a wide variety of competition cars on display, ranging from Formula 1 and GTs to Touring cars and Group B rally cars. Wednesday 12 October to Sunday 16 October: Festival of Flavours at RHS Garden Wisley, Woking

RHS Garden Wisley will host a five-day food spectacular featuring flavours from around the world, tips for growing the best ingredients, and cooking demonstrations from international chefs. Taste your way around the world with a delicious array of food and drink, browse 35 food stalls, enjoy tours of the edible gardens, and learn from celebrity chefs. Sunday 16 October: Horse Ploughing Match, Show & Country Fair, Puttenham

Saturday 15 October: Guildford Book Festival Readers' Day, Guildford

First Saturday of every month: Maltings Monthly Market, Farnham

Discover something unique at one of the oldest and largest markets in Surrey. On the first Saturday of every month, come rain or shine, you can find everything from artisan bread to chic vintage items, local craft designers to antique sellers. First Tuesday of every month: Guildford Farmers' Market, Guildford High Street

Take a trip to the Farmer's Market which takes place on the first Tuesday of every month. Buy high quality fresh local produce directly from over 50 local farmers and producers at Guildford's monthly Farmers' Market, held in the historic cobbled High Street. From 10.30am to 3.30pm in Guildford High Street.


Every Friday and Sunday: Downs and Weald Rambling Group, various locations

The Downs and Weald Rambling (DWRG) group offers year round Sunday walks of 8 to 12 miles and shorter Friday evening walks of 2 to 4 miles. Surrey County Council are developing local mixed friendship groups for veterans across Surrey in various locations. This will be a space where veterans can get to know one another and take part in activities.

Surrey Fire and Rescue Service hosts monthly Veteran's Hubs at Fordbridge, Guildford and Woking Fire Stations. The initiative, which has been running for a year now, enables currently serving, ex-serving and their loved ones the opportunity to meet peers, gain advice and support services under one roof.

Last Thursday of each month, Guildford Veterans Hub, Guildford

Guildford's hub is hosted at Guildford Fire Station, A25, West Clandon, Guildford GU1 1AT on the last Thursday of every month from 10.30am to 12.30pm.


Third Wednesday of every month, Woking Veterans Hub, Woking

Woking's hub takes place at Woking Fire Station, 42 Goldsworth Rd, Woking GU21 6LE on the third Wednesday of every month from 10.30am to 12pm.


Fourth Thursday of every month, Fordbridge Veterans Hub, Ashford

Fordbridge's hub is on the 4 Tuesday of every month from 11am to 1pm at Fordbridge Fire Station, Staines Road West, Ashford TW15 3SB.


First Tuesday of each month, Epsom and Ewell Veterans Community Hub, Ewell

First Thursday of each month, Models for Heroes (model making session), Epsom

Second Tuesday of each month, Indoor Activities, Epsom
