Let's come together and celebrate our communities!
In Surrey we have seen communities stepping up to help, volunteer, and continue to come together after what has been a challenging few years. Our goal is to 'Leave No One Behind', to give every resident an opportunity to be involved, to empower communities and, as a result build healthier, safer, and greener places to live.
The most valuable and powerful thing we have is our communities and the Big Jubilee Lunch provides the perfect opportunity to celebrate that – and let's face it who doesn't like to have a great lunch and a good natter with friends!
How can you take part in the Big Lunch?
The Big Jubilee Lunch brings communities together – join millions of people across the UK as they come together, celebrate their connections and get to know one another a little better.
Join in on the Big Lunch weekend from 2 to 5 June 2022, or party on throughout June which is the Month of Community.
There are more reasons than ever to celebrate as The Big Jubilee Lunch kicks off a summer of community, friendship and fun. Say thank you to your neighbours with a party, share food and good times! Rise to the occasion and start planning your event now. Join the party that's right up your street and celebrate the people around you. Great things happen when we all get together!
