T'is the season and with this season comes a whole range of festive, seasonal events for you, your friends and loved ones.


Friday 1 December to Saturday 16 December: Winter wreath making, Watts Gallery

Create a beautiful and sustainable winter wreath for your home using an array of natural materials found across the Watts Gallery estate. Led by Verey Head Gardener and renowned florist Chris Sharples, explore traditional method of making a wreath base and decorate it with foliage, berries and ribbon. Friday 1 December to Sunday 24 December: Christmas at Godstone Farm

A Father Christmas visit includes the choice of a brilliant toy from his charming toy shop, an interactive activity plus entry to farm all day including our indoor playbarn. Friday 1 December to Saturday 23 December: A Perfect Christmas - Meet Father Christmas, Polesden Lacey

Throughout December: Christmas Carousel, Polesden Lacey

Friday 1 December to Sunday 10 December: Hampton Court Palace Festive Fayre

Join others in December for the Festive Fayre 2023, when Hampton Court Palace's magnificent courtyards and grounds will be transformed into a food-lover's winter wonderland once again. Friday 1 December to Saturday 30 December: Denbies Santa Express

Tis the season... For a ride on the Santa Express at Denbies. This train ride includes a special "passport" from Santa, a ride through the vineyard on the Santa Express with the Reindeer Game and a gift at the end of your ride. Enjoy! Book your spot on the Denbies Santa Express webpage.

Saturday 2, 3, 9 and 10 December: Ramster Christmas Market, Chiddingfold

This is a wonderful Christmas market experience inside a beautiful historic Jacobean Hall. Discover a unique collection of locally made gifts including food and drink, beauty products, art and homewares. You can also buy premium Christmas trees and beautiful wreaths from the Ramster Tea House who will be serving festive treats including mince pies and mulled wine. Event will run from 10am to 4pm. Saturday 2 December: Owen Spafford and Louis Campbell concert

Owen Spafford and Louis Campbell are the reason Folk Inspiration was created. After their breath-taking performance in a double-header with Andy Cutting for their first concert at the Boileroom last year, their return to Guildford was inevitable! Saturday 2 December: West End Christmas Fair 2023, Woking

West End Christmas Fair at Gordon's School, Bagshot Rd, Woking GU24 9PT, from 11am to 3pm, returns this year with a mix of commercial and craft stalls, and entertainment, food and drink, Tombola and more.

Sunday 3 December: Newlands Corner Christmas Pop-Up 2023

Have you been to the Newlands Corner Christmas Pop-Up? The successful event brings together a host of Surrey based businesses in a stunning outdoor setting and returns for the third year on Sunday 3 December from 10am to 3.30pm. Sunday 3 December: Christmas Winter Welly Walk, Gatton Park

Tuesday 5 December: Christmas With The Len Phillips Swing Orchestra, Dorking Halls

Nothing says Christmas like Bing Crosby, Michael Bublé and the classic sound of a big band. This year, the Len Phillips Swing Orchestra is back to celebrate in style. A seasonal family favourite show packed with some of the best-loved Christmas tunes of all time like Jingle Bells, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, and many more. Tuesday 5 and Sunday 10 December: Christmas Market - curated by Dapper & Suave

At all Dapper & Suave pop ups you can find lifestyle products such as beauty, fashion, food and drink, jewellery and more. But this time it's Christmas so you'll be able to find all manner of gifts for your family and friends. Get the timings and locations on the Dapper and Suave website.

Wednesday 6 December: Epworth Choir Family Christmas Concert

Look forward to a festive concert of carols which includes the popular 'On Christmas Night' by Chilcott. This performance supports The Lighthouse – a vibrant Woking hub hosting many supportive projects. Interval refreshments will be available to buy and all proceed will go to The Lighthouse. Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 December: Wreath Making Workshop, Surrey Hills

Wrap up and get into the festive spirit with a Christmas Wreath Making Workshop on our farm nestled in the Surrey Hills! Under the expert guidance of renowned floristry expert Carrie from Topiary-Tree. All levels are welcome, and materials will be provided. Book your spot on the Joy Farms website.

Saturday 9 December: Guildford Choral Christmas Concert - Handel's Messiah

What would the approach to Christmas be without a thrilling performance of Handel's Messiah? Since its first performance in 1742, this work has never ceased to enthral with its heady mix of solo arias and vibrant choruses – with the triumphant Hallelujah Chorus at its heart. Saturday 9 December: Bourne Hall Christmas Lights Switch On

This is just one of the many festive events taking place at Bourne Hall throughout December. Expect a day of festive fun including
performances from local dance schools and so much more. It's free and kicks off from 10am to 5pm. The Mayor of Epsom and Ewell will switch on the Christmas lights at 4.30pm.

Saturday 9 December to Saturday 16 December: Santa's Grotto, Bourne Hall

Do the little ones want to meet Father Christmas at his grotto? Bring them along to visit the grotto at Bourne Hall and post a letter to Father Christmas in the Bourne Hall post box. Grotto will run from 10am to 4pm.

Saturday 9 December to Sunday 10 December: Christmas Wreath Making (AM and PM), Leatherhead

Pick your slot and enjoy a festive morning making a Christmas door wreath using natural materials found locally. Bring some friends or come on your own. Sunday 10 December: Carols by Candlelight, Guildford

This award-winning Surrey Hills Chamber Choir and The Surrey Hills Singers will be performing their traditional candlelit Christmas Concert in Guildford, starting at 7pm. Sunday 10 December: Santa Fun Run, Denbies Estate

Don your favourite Santa outfit and head out on this 2.5k route with other festive minded people! It isn't timed, but it's 2 laps of the 2.5k route, and while there are medals and numbers there are no prizes for being first across the line. Also, if you're worried your children won't manage the full 5K you can do one lap and still earn the medal, mulled wine and mince pie. Monday 11 December and Friday 15 December: Christmas Wreath-making, Bourne Hall
