Funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, the Surrey Heath Borough Council is launching a new grant scheme to support community-led arts, culture, heritage and creative events.
The Council are able to fund at least ten events across the Borough with grants of up to £1,000 available.
The grant will support a range of events including, but not limited to:
- Food festivals
- Music festivals
- Comedy festivals
- Cultural festivals
- Theatre festivals
- Arts festivals
- Concerts and music
- Dancing events
- Community meals (food and drink, excluding alcohol)
- Parades
- Street party
- Performances and performing arts
- Classes and lessons
