Grafton Stables, new walking trail named
In 2025, after consultation with the local community, Grafton Stables in Worcester Park became part of Surrey’s 10,000-acre Countryside Estate, helping to protect its biodiversity for future generations.
Countryside management work has been taking place over the winter months and Grafton Stables will open to the public in early April. Part of this work has involved creating a new short walking trail around the site. The short trail weaves it's way through a mix of woodland and open green space, offering visitors a perfect way to explore this new part of our Countryside Estate.
We ran a public poll during March to engage the local community and help us to name this new walking trail and we’re excited to announce that the new trail name will be the 'Fox' trail. We would like to thank all those who took part in our poll, we had some great suggestions put forward but we think the Fox trail perfectly reflects the wildlife and character of the local area.
